Hi,
My name is Terry Shoemaker, I got started in photography around the age of seven when my sister used to take me with her when she was taking pictures. I enjoyed taking pictures of babies when my children were little. It wasn't long until I was asked to do wedding pictures for friends. I didn't do much nature photography until we moved from PA to SC where I discovered Huntington Beach State Park which is a premier photo spot for birds and other critters.
In 2008 I placed second in the advanced division of the South Carolina Wildlife Magazine photo contest with my Egrets Ballet photo and in 2009 I won first place and best in show for "Anhinga with fish".
